Childhood experiences, both positive and negative, have lifelong impacts and influence health and well-being later in life. Come and learn about the Adverse Childhood Experiences Study (ACEs) that started the movement toward understanding the link between what happens early in life and later outcomes.

Training Schedule:
- April 5: An introduction of the concept of ACEs: “It’s not what’s wrong with you, it’s what happened to you. “Foundational Trauma/ACE education”
- April 7: Everyday Work Effects of stress both personal and professional.
- April 12: Thriving in the Face of Working with Challenging Behaviors.
- April 14: Wrap-up: Trauma informed approach: What the past and current conditions such as COVID mean in the classroom.
Expect to receive an email from Peaceful Households from Kathy Orr 719-351-0893 Kathy.orr@peacefulhouseholds.org 2-4 days before the event containing training handouts and Zoom link.
Expect to receive an email from JI/Alliance for Kids with the certificate of completion up to one month after the training.
