November 24, 2020

Dear friends,

I wish everyone across District 3 and Prince George's County a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving. I know this year will be different for many of us and am deeply grateful for the ways each of you are caring for our community by staying safe.

Learn more about the latest COVID-19 safety requirements here.

Our Greater Riverdale Cares initiative launched on April 6 and has accomplished incredible work since then. Thank you to all the partners and volunteers who have made this possible.

Together we have distributed more than 1.8 million pounds of groceries and fresh produce and more than 100,000 total prepared meals.

Please note, the normal Saturday distribution at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Landover Hills will NOT take place this Saturday.

Click here for a two-page resource flyer.

I am excited to partner with Employ Prince George's to distribute $300 Visa gift cards to District 3 residents who lost their jobs as a result of the pandemic.

If you received a gift card through the Hourly Relief Fund previously you ARE eligible to receive a second gift card.

Please apply today! Go to www.employpgedge.com (corrected link), create an account and fill out the application form. After you apply, please watch your email for your approval and for the details of when and where to pick up your gift card. For assistance in Spanish, please contact Sandra at sandra@layc-ed.org

If you are in need of help from Toys4Tots, please apply today: English Application, Spanish Application.

As always, feel free to reach out to a member of my District 3 team or me if we can help you in any way. I am sharing updates regularly on social media, especially my
