SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan and Advance Program Reopened
To further meet the needs of U.S. small businesses and non-profits, the U.S. Small Business Administration reopened the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) and EIDL Advance program portal to all eligible applicants experiencing economic impacts due to COVID-19.


CT Back to Work Initiative
Governor Lamont announced the  CT Back to Work Initiative , a public-private partnership that will provide resources to workers and businesses impacted by COVID-19. The DECD Tech Talent Fund enabled the expansion of vital remote learning tools for our residents. 

Partnering directly with Indeed.com, Metrix Learning, 180 Skills, the Governor’s Workforce Council, and the Department of Labor, the program will provide Connecticut residents with a  customized job portal , career services, and online job training. The program will benefit residents searching for work or looking to develop new skills. It will also connect employers with qualified candidates.

DECD's COVID-19 Business Emergency Response Unit

The Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) has created a COVID-19 Business Emergency Response Unit dedicated to assisting businesses navigate resources and develop new resources. A dedicated phone line is available at  860-500-2333  to provide assistance to Connecticut's small businesses for this purpose.
