During the May 17 regular board meeting, the District 65 School Board officially welcomed its newest member, Ms. Donna Su! High Five! Recipient for May - Mr. Ruben Tobias
|
Give a round of applause to Mr. Ruben Tobias (pictured below), Dawes Elementary Teacher Assistant, for being selected as one of the recipients for this month’s High Five! Celebrating Excellence in District 65 award! Ruben has supported our students for four years and was nominated by fellow Dawes colleague, Ms. Kelly Kelly. Kelly shared that “Mr. Tobias is the ultimate teaching assistant. He arrives at school early to game plan and prepare for the day. He makes sure to be prepared for the upcoming lessons, completing the work on his own first so that he can best support the students. Our classroom would not be the same without him. Mr. Tobias is awesome and we are so lucky to have him!" Thank you for going above and beyond to support the students in our community, Mr. Tobias! As a reminder, both May recipients received a $100 gift card from sponsorship provided by Byline Bank, a framed recognition certificate, and were recognized at the monthly school board meeting on May 17.
