Community Highlights
Chamber Member Vatandoust Real Estate Team is hosting a FREE family skate at Newcastle Arena – Wednesday, March 16th at 10:00 A.M.  

Newcastle Community Garden, also a Chamber member, still has a few plots available for the low price of $75.00 for the season. The plots are located beside the Diane Hamre Recreational Centre. Applications are available at:

We are working in alliance with business students and will host events this year. If you wish to participate, please contact either Jane Black· or Jim Norwood. Participation can prove to be beneficial to your business.

The Newcastle Community Hall
will be celebrating 100 years in 2023. The hall is the centre of the Newcastle community with an interesting history. We will keep you updated on planned events.
Car rally in support of Autism Home Base. 
Ready for some fun? Join us on a car rally tour that will take you through beautiful Clarington. You will have 9 designated stops with games, activities, and snacks along the way. The tour will take approximately 3 hours (90-minutes of drive time and 90-minutes of activities at the various stops). Funds raised will support Autism Home Base and the programs and supports that they provide for autistic adults and their families.

The Rally tour will take you throughout scenic Clarington on a predetermined route. There will be games, snacks and lots of fun to enjoy as you explore some of the many gems in our community.
The tour can take approximately 3 hours at a leisurely pace (90 minutes of driving and 90 minutes spent at the multiple stops).
By purchasing this ticket, participants agree to comply with all terms and conditions of the Allies for Autism Car Rally. Participants understand and acknowledge that this rally is NOT a race and will abide by all traffic laws. Please follow all COVID safety protocols that are currently required by Durham Region Department of Health and the locations you visit along the route.

Autism Home Base (AHB) provides opportunities for members to connect with peers through regular, high-quality programs that are safe, inclusive, flexible, and adaptive to ensure participant comfort and success. Art, music, sports, wellness, social, leisure programs, as well as community outings are offered year-round in person and on Zoom.
