For Altix and many of our clients, 2022 was a record year, and we have a lot to celebrate and be grateful for: our partners and clients, new friendships and business connections, as well as the lessons we learned during yet another eventful year.
When one year draws to a close, a new one is on the horizon; an opportunity for a fresh start and new possibilities.
As we still deal with the aftermath of a global crisis, visionary leaders and CEOs have successfully responded with substantial shifts in both leadership and strategy, which will support the success of their companies and benefit society as a whole. Many of the successes we have witnessed this past year were the result of CEOs making BOLD moves with focus on long-term vision and investments. Without a crisis as driver for change, most of us would not have seen such exponential growth and increased efficiency in such a short time.
As we transition into the new year, we encourage you to ask yourself: How will you be able to continue this momentum that catapulted so many companies forward at record speed? Are you committed to stay the course and continue to build on this unique driver of unprecedented and rapid change we previously thought impossible, or will your company revert to its comfort zone?
Of course, the year-end is also a good time to reflect and count our blessings. An opportunity to spend time with family and friends, and to rest and reenergize for the new year which will no doubt be another eventful and transformative one.

On October 27th, members of the ALTIX team had the honor of attending the Mason Deerfield Chamber “Gems of Excellence” annual awards night as ALTIX was named Finalist for Innovative Business of the Year!
This annual awards dinner is the Chamber’s premiere event and focuses on local businesses that are thriving, valued, admired for excellence, and prized for perfection. To us, this event was a wonderful reminder of Mason’s flourishing business community, and it is an honor and privilege to be part of it!

EXOR America Launched their U.S. Manufacturing Headquarters
in October!

Congratulations, and thank you, Ken Kamlowsky, for your trust and for leading the way to Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing!
EXOR officially launched its U.S. Manufacturing Headquarters in the Cincinnati region and is an affiliate of EXOR International, an Italian company operating globally, and a long time innovator and manufacturer of solutions in the HMI and IoT space. EXOR provides customers with easy-to-use tolls which express a highly advanced technology, fully responsive to the concepts of Industry 4.0.

Our Co-Founder Anne Cappel met French President Macron?
During President Emmanuel Macron’s recent State Visit, Altix co-founder and CMO, Anne Cappel, had the honor of being invited to the French Embassy in Washington DC.
President Macron addressed topics of economy, emerging technologies, trade, supply chain, and reaffirmed the U.S. and France’s bilateral trading and investment relationship. The French President also thanked guests for their contributions to the longstanding close relations between the U.S. and France.
Anne Cappel served as Honorary Consul of France in Cincinnati, OH for 20 years, and is now Conseillère du Commerce Extérieur de la France (French Foreign Trade Advisors) where she serves as special advisor to promote transatlantic economic exchanges between France and the U.S.

Italian Practice Group?
Last month we had the privilege to host a very special group of executives from Italian Companies for our favorite Italian tradition: The Aperitivo.
As we celebrated these Italian companies’ successes in North America, we pledged our continued support with the launch of the ALTIX Italian Practice Group.
Spearheaded by our two highly accomplished Italian partners, Gian Paolo Arosio who is located in Milan, and Eugenio Venturato who is based in Cincinnati, the Altix Consulting Italian Practice Group is solely dedicated to supporting Italian companies who seek to grow and better compete in North America.

Operations Leaders Circle of Excellence – Road Trip!
On December 9th, Yannick Schilly, Altix CEO and Head Coach of the Altix Operations Leaders of Excellence, led an educational tour of the Ford Rouge Factory in Dearborn, MI. By invitation only, a group of operations executives joined him as he delved into the evolution of industrialization, from its humble beginnings of simple mechanization, commonly referred to as Industry 1.0, to the current high-tech game-changer: Industry 4.0.
Following the Ford Rouge Factory Tour, the group enjoyed lunch at The Henry Ford Museum, while discussing how to leverage smart automation and digital transformation to create an agile, interactive production process.
Yannick’s take-away: “Visiting The Henry Ford museum and factory afforded us a glimpse into the past to help us better understand what it takes to gain a competitive edge via digital transformation and operational excellence. Having spent my entire career in this field, I felt like a kid in a candy store. Being surrounded by people who are equally as enthusiastic about our industry was the pièce de résistance!"

The October 2022 to June 2023 Operations Leaders Circle of Excellence is a monthly, structured and interactive roundtable that includes presentations by industry experts designed to share tried and proven best practices, and to help gain broader perspectives, roundtable discussions and factory tours. Participants identify and work on key focus initiatives for their company in tandem with our nine-month learning and exchange program.
