SPYF Fall Kickoff
St. Paul's Youth Fellowship (SPYF), our ministry to youth in grades 6-12, is having our first in-person meeting of the fall this Sunday evening, from 6-8 PM in the 3rd floor of the Education Center. We are looking forward to kicking off a great semester together, and we hope to see our young people there (we will be wearing masks). Please contact Pastor Greg with any questions.
What's for dinner?
You are invited to support St. Paul’s UMW missions by eating at or ordering carryout from Panera at 1613 North Atherton Street on Tuesday, October 12, between 4:00 and 8:00 PM! Panera will donate 20% of the cost of your meal when you show them our flyer. The flyer -- either a printed version or an electronic version on a mobile phone or tablet -- must be presented when ordering. You can download a copy of the flyer here. Or pick one up at the church (you can find them by the church office or at the Calder Way and College Avenue entrances) or contact Suzy Lutz or Virginia Flick. Throughout the pandemic, the St. Paul’s UMW have continued giving to and advocating for missions, especially for women, children and youth locally, nationally and internationally. Thank you for your support!
St. Paul's YouTube Channel
Remember, if you missed our worship services this weekend (or any weekend) you don't have to worry! While we would absolutely love to see you in person, or connected during our livestream at 10:30 AM, our services are archived on our YouTube Channel, where you can watch or listen to them anytime you want: on a walk, driving to work, during a quiet time in the morning, or while making dinner! Click here to find our worship services.
Fall Worship Schedule
We are excited to continue our new worship schedule this weekend, with two in-person worship services, and a continued live-stream option. You can join us at 9 AM for a communion service in the sanctuary (or use that time to attend Sunday School for children and adults), or at 10:30 AM for a hybrid service (in-person and live-streamed). Please note that all of our in-person programs and ministries are subject to changing guidelines depending on best public health practices as we continue to navigate through the pandemic.
Adult Sunday School Options
The Seekers & Servants class will reconvene on September 26 at 9:00 AM in the Wesley Lounge, and they will be looking at a book called "Eternity is Now in Session." Please email Phil for more info. The Forum Sunday School class is currently meeting on Zoom at 3:00 PM on Sunday afternoons. Email George for more info on this class. Finally, a new class for parents (or parents-at-heart) is being held each week at 9:00 AM in Room 209 in the Education Center. Please email Shannon or email Sam for more info about this new class.
