ST VINCENT DE PAUL THANKS YOU After working hard for an advanced degree, a young woman found work in her field of study. Unfortunately, she had to take a leave from her job for several months when she came down with Covid. An underlying medical condition exacerbated the covid symptoms and resulted in a long-haul covid case. Short term disability benefits helped with rent initially, but when that benefit ran out, the woman found she was short of funds to pay rent. The woman called the St Vincent de Paul Helpline requesting assistance (206-767-6449). With your support, assistance was given to help cover rent. Since our visit, this neighbor has been able to go back to work and cover her expenses. Information, Jo Ann Wiesner, 206-291-4012 or wiesnerjo@gmail.com.
