"Seven Principles, Seven Pandemics, Many Stories: A Youth-Led Multigenerational Service"
UUCH YOUUTH & CYRE Groups
10:45 AM
The YOUUTH Group will lead this powerful worship service exploring how our UU principles speak to big issues facing our world. The kids in the morning CYRE Group will share a story for all ages that they wrote and illustrated. Our young people will be supported in their ministry by Erin Reid (DRE), Harper Goodman (CYRE Assistant), and Rev. Jaimie Dingus. The service will also celebrate our year in Religious Education, express gratitude to our volunteers, staff, and families, and include a bridging ceremony. All ages will find something for them as we worship together in a multigenerational community.

This Sunday in Children and Youth

CYRE and YOUUTH groups will not meet. Families are encouraged to attend the youth-led worship service. It will be engaging for all ages!

Little Food Pantry
The Little Food Pantry needs your help. The pantry is being heavily used and church members have been generous in filling it. While the weather is still cool, fresh fruits and veggies are always welcomed--apples, bananas, carrots, taters, onions, etc. For some reason, black beans, lentils, and chickpeas aren't well-liked. Let's keep helping our neighbors! A big thanks!

Care List
This Sunday at our Circle of Candles:
Paul and Bridgit lit a candle of joy: As we are getting more shots in arms, society is beginning to open a little. Yeah!!! Looking forward to seeing friends and family etc.
Barbara Hitt lit a candle of gratitude: Thanks to Care Committee members Mitzi Schrimsher, Lynda Lamitie, and Barbara for providing food to Jessica Zelaya after her surgery.
Steve Herold lit a candle of sorrow: Bonnie and I are moving to Greenville, SC to be closer to kids and grandkids. We are sorry that we won't be able to see our good friends at UUCH in-person very often.
Barbara Hitt lit a candle of gratitude: Thanks from the Care Committee to Shalin Mody, George Fletcher, Gary Hitt, David Bollinger, Will Garrison, and Howard Williams—who brought a trailer—to help a church member, Jack Long, move from his house into an apartment.
Kathy Fisher lit candles of joy: Both baby robins survived and have flown from my porch, mama bird always close. My sister was able to take her husband home from rehab, and he’s doing well and looking forward to a new hip replacement this summer. And I return to teaching in-person in June!
Kathy Fisher lit a candle of sorrow: Losing both Erin and Harper! They’ve done such a marvelous job with RE and we’re so grateful! Wishing them both well!
Paul and Bridgit lit a candle of gratitude: Thank you our beautiful choir!
Daniel McKitrick lit a candle of joy: Happy to hear Soul Matters friend Brian Bess is thriving after heart bypass surgery!
