Non-Profits Fair 2022 ✨
Join MAPS-Small Business Resiliency Network and MCNA-Muslim Community Network Association for the first-ever Small Business & Non-Profits Fair this Saturday March 5th in the MAPS Gym from 12-4pm!
There'll be food trucks, small business owners and vendors, non-profit owners, and resource providers for small businesses.
The event is FREE to table for small business owners. Sign ups for a table end on February 25th, 2022!

Spelling Bee 🐝
Join MAPS for our first annual Spelling Bee on March 11th at 6pm. Open to Elementary to Middle school students!
There will be three tiers: K-2, 3-5, & 6-8!

📝 Homeschooling Hub 📝
Homeschool Hub aims to give homeschooling parents a break and homeschooled students a chance to socialize and work alongside their peers. Starting Feb 8 the program will run from 9am to 1:30pm every Tuesday until March 29, in the MPR at MAPS.
This is a drop-off program for independent students aged 7 to 12 years old. Students will have structured supervised time to complete their assignments or attend online classes, have game time, presentation time, lunch, pray Zhuhr, and have recess in the gym or outdoor playground (weather dependant).
Cost is $80 per 4 sessions.
Masks will be required, as will frequent hand washing, temperature checks, and small class sizes (5-8 students).

🩺 When to Worry 🩺
MAPS-MCRC and MHP are pleased to announce the launch of a new weekly health webinar series in which providers will discuss common health symptoms and what to do about them.
Our hope is to dispel many of the myths or worries associated with these symptoms and clarify when to seek medical attention or what actions to take. This weekly series will feature a brief talk by a medical provider, followed by Q&A.
Please join us this coming Tuesday, March 7th from 6 to 6:30pm to discuss 'Diabetes Management with Dr. Marie Mercado (Endocrinologist)'

🥘 Muslim Support Group 🥘
Come join our latest support group for new and seasoned Muslims. We will be hosting potlucks on the first Friday of every month, with our first potluck being tonight, March 4th starting at 6:30pm, ending at 7:30pm in the MPR.
The intention of this group is to provide support to our new Muslims and for those searching or have reverted back to Islam. In our first session, we hope to introduce ourselves with the intention of building an inclusive and welcoming community.
Please invite others who would be interested.
Imam Adam & Brother Alaa will be joining us as well. We will be ending in time to join the 7:30pm “The Muslim Experience program”.
