Lost and found

You know when your kiddo goes to the refrigerator and can’t find the ketchup that is right in front of them? I think that is what has happened with our lost and found. It is jam-packed and they just can’t find what they lost, even though it is probably right there.

So starting Monday March 7, we will put all our lost and found items on a table in the front lobby. This will make it easier for parents to come and dig. Please make some time to come and find what they have lost before spring break when it gets donated. Thanks!
Primary families donated 750 food items!

Thank you to all the first grade students and other primary families for their food donations to the Round Rock Service Center. In all, everyone 'sweetly' donated around 750 food items!

Way to go Lions!

Important: April 18 is now a regular school day

To make up for the inclement weather day on Feb. 24, Meridian must hold a make-up day before school ends. This will take place April 18. This was originally scheduled as a staff PD day, but it will now be a regular school day for students and staff.

Why now? Why not after the two days we stayed home earlier this month?

  • Meridian builds in additional school time to cushion inclement weather closures, but we reached our limit for the school year with the two previous weather days taken February 10 and 11.
  • If we do not make up this third closure, the school will lose almost $100,000 in funding from the state. (Almost all funding for charter schools is based on Average Daily Attendance numbers).
