Alma Families,

Winter Break is just around the corner, but we hope you will take the time to complete our Winter 2022-23 Family Survey before you take your well-deserved time with family and friends.

Feedback is a critical part of Alma del Mar. We take very seriously the experiences of our scholars, staff members and families, and survey all of these community members at least twice per school year. The purpose of these surveys is to give school leaders insight into what YOU think about various aspects of your scholar’s school experience.

We have added some demographic questions so that we can make sure when looking at our data we are supporting families from all backgrounds. All responses will be entered into a raffle to win a gift basket valued at $200!

Alma Community Spotlight

Retired New England Patriots player Joe Andruzzi spent time with scholars at Alma’s Ottiwell Campus on Friday as appreciation for the school community’s fundraising efforts for the player’s charitable foundation.

The Ottiwell school community raised $1,000 for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation, a nonprofit that directly supports cancer patients and their families, as part of their Pink Out Day event in October. Scholars and staff were also encouraged to wear pink to show their support for Faustina De Pina, a beloved Alma teacher, who has been courageously fighting breast cancer this school year.

Joe Andruzzi is a former Patriots three-time Super Bowl Champion offensive guard. He created his foundation in order to help New England cancer patients and their families through a variety of grants, including household assistance, extraordinary needs, food security assistance, transportation assistance and additional resources.
