Christmas/Holiday Sweater Day is December 7th.


Students are permitted to wear an appropriate Christmas/Holiday sweater that is respectful and within the guidelines of casual dress outlined in our handbooks. Students may wear jeans (with no rips or holes) and tennis shoes with the sweater.

Scripps Spelling Bee,

School Bee for 2nd-7th grade. For more information please contact Mrs. Fast.

Sixth and seventh grade Griffins play in various tournaments with games and toys of old as they learn about medieval culture. For more information please contact Mrs. Fast.

Aristoi's Prospective Student Open House, December 3rd!

What does a small, classical school provide? What is classical education? What does it mean to strive to be a student of virtuous character? Invite your friends and neighbors to discover what Aristoi is all about at Aristoi's Open Houses on Dec. 3rd! This is the perfect opportunity for them to speak with faculty, check out Aristoi's curriculum, and learn about classical education.


Following are the Open House times for all three campuses:

6th & 7th Grade

Mid-term Exams


Cypress is holding mid-term exams on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, December 13th - 16th.



These exams account for one-seventh of the fall semester grade for each course.


  • After the second exam of the day, students eat lunch and then have a guided study proctored by Aristoi staff until 3:15 PM.

Please discuss with your child what classes he/she has at each time period to determine which mid-terms they have each day. Students stay with their homeroom teacher all morning. Students may bring a snack to school each day. It is recommended they bring a book to read when they are finished testing.

Aristoi's mascot, the Griffin, is a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of an eagle. The lion's strength and the eagle's vision suggest the union of strength and wisdom. The Griffin was known as a guardian of treasure.
