President's Message
Hello Dentist Colleagues,
It was great to see nearly 60 UPCDA members attend our October meeting at Countryside Country Club. We want to thank Mariel Kagan, who represented The Doctors Company. She gave us multiple precautions, both clinical and clerical, that help prevent dental legal errors. Ms. Kagan can be reached at [email protected] and to learn more about The Doctors Company visit www.thedoctors.com.
Last month dental therapist information was included click here to read in our newsletter. At our next meeting on Wednesday, November 8th Dr. William Kochenour will provide additional information and answer questions during the announcements. Now is the time to learn and confront this issue, before the stew is fully cooked!
Our November 8th meeting will be in conjunction with the Pinellas Dental Association at the Belleair Country Club. Cocktails and conversation with local vendors start at 6:00PM.
Please attend as the guest speaker promises to give us great information on Dentistry's Digital Revolution.
The UPCDA Holiday Happy Hour date has changed to December 1st at Bellini's (Gulf- to- Bay near McMullen Booth). The UPCDA will provide 2 drinks and hors d'oeuvres for members and their guests. This year promises to equal last year's spirit success.
First meeting of 2018 is a real treat, as we present our very own trailblazing Dr. Mark Davis. He will share pearls on his experience in developing an advanced dental practice. Don't miss this treat!
Sincerely,
George Kostakis, DDS
President

Course Description:
In-office CAD/CAM technology has come a long way since CEREC was first introduced over thirty years ago; however, many clinicians still have reservations about digital dentistry that are often founded on outdated information. Dentistry's Digital Revolution will demonstrate the current capabilities of everyday digital dentistry as well as leading-edge applications of CEREC technology, from guided implant surgery to complex rehabilitations. Take this opportunity to learn how digital dentistry can transform your practice by creating a convenient, patient-friendly process while achieving exceptional clinical results. Taught by a nationally-recognized leader in CAD/CAM dentistry, this fast-paced course is designed to broaden your horizons and demonstrate how technology can elevate your practice and change your patients' lives. Dentistry's Digital Revolution will show you what is possible through CAD/CAM dentistry and keep you on the forefront of this rapidly-evolving technology. Don't fear the digital revolution; instead, learn to embrace it!
