This Sunday we return to two worship services and Sunday morning programming for all ages. Welcome back! Details below:

This Sunday:
  • Worship I - 9:15 a.m. (Sanctuary & Livestream) Children are most welcome in worship and will be led by church school teachers to their respective classrooms following the Time with Children.
  • Church School for Middle and High School - 9:15-10:30 a.m. (meet in the parking lot)
  • Church School for PreK (room 07) and Kindergarten (room 04) - 9:30-10:15 a.m.
  • Joyful Noise Choir for PreK and K (begins 9/19 in Niles Chapel) - 10:15-10:40 a.m.
  • Church School for Grades 1-5 - 9:30-10:30 a.m. (indoor and outdoor classrooms)
  • Adult Education - 9:30-10:15 a.m. (Assembly Room)
  • Fellowship Hour - 10:15-11:00 a.m. (front plaza and parking lot)
  • Worship II - 11:00 a.m. (Sanctuary & Livestream video from the 9:15 a.m. service)

Staying Connected
Adult Choir Begins This Wednesday
We are happy to announce the return of in-person rehearsals for Adult Choir starting September 8, Our Wednesday evening rehearsals are from 7:30-9:00, and are open to college-age and older. Vaccination and masking are required and the choir will be split between the 9:15 and 11:00 services. Please contact Director of Music, Noel Werner, to find out how you can become a part of our wonderful Adult Choir!

Joyful Noise (PreK/K) will meet on Sunday mornings, 10:15-10:40 a.m., beginning September 19.  
Carol Choir (grades 1 & 2) will meet on Wednesday afternoons, 4:15-5:00 p.m., beginning September 22.
Choir 3·4·5 (grades 3, 4 & 5) will meet on Wednesday afternoons, 5:15-6:00 p.m., beginning September 22.
Chorale (grades 6, 7 & 8) and Cantorei (grades 9-12) will begin on Sunday, September 19.  
  • 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., Cantorei will meet (during middle school fellowship)
  • 6:00 p.m., dinner in outdoor tent
  • 6:40 -7:30 p.m., Chorale will meet (during high school fellowship)
Join a Zoom Film & Book Group
An exciting new film and book discussion group is forming for 2021-2022. Zoom meetings will be held every third Wednesday of the month from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. The first meeting, slated for Wednesday, September 15, will feature a discussion of Capernaum, a 2018 film (available on Amazon Prime) about a gutsy Lebanese boy who must use his wits to survive the dangerous city streets after fleeing his negligent parents. Assistance for Friends For Health in Haiti (FFHH)
On August 14 at 7:28 a.m., a 7.2 magnitude earthquake occurred in Haiti. Our ministry partners at the Gatineau Clinic in the mountains outside Jérémie need our help. Katie Wolf M.D, Medical Director, from the Kingston Presbyterian Church and her staff are safe and are busy assessing damage and needs of the surrounding communities. Presbyterian Disaster Assistance for Haiti
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance has had long-standing decades-long partnerships in Haiti. Working closely with Presbyterian World Mission, our traditional partners on the ground and ACT Alliance, PDA is responding to emergency needs such as WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene), emergency power generators, shelter, food, first aid and more. Update on the Church Office
The Forward in Faith Together working group has recommended that staff begin to return to their offices on a regular basis and as they are able. Staff will be available to meet at the church office by appointment over the summer. Our church office will more fully open in September as we launch the fall program year, welcome back our office volunteers, and hit the ground running.
