NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS
Fourth of July Party, Sunday, July 4!

Our fantastic EE Hospitality Committee is organizing a Fourth of July party, 4 pm, at the Ramada, on Sunday, July 4.  Hog dogs and ice cream will be provided by Hospitality.  If you'd like, bring a side dish or appetizer to share.  Please bring your own beverage and eating utensils.

We'll observe the currently recommended Covid protocol for outdoor gatherings.  If you are vaccinated, you don't have to mask or social distance, unless you have underlying conditions, then do what's right for you.  It's recommended that non-vaccinated people continue to observe masking and social distancing.

Everyone is welcome....We'll have a CRACKER of a time!!
County Flood Control
From Cyndie Alto
The Pima County Flood Control Dept has plans to trim trees and plants along the bank in the arroyo behind South Circulo Napa, & Western Nueva to Esparanza.  At this time they are hoping to start Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning.  We expect to have some machinery & truck noise but are very pleased to have them here to take care of this drainage area.
Deadline To Trim the Tall Palms is Wednesday, June 30
From Cyndie Alto
Thanks to everyone who has taken care of their palms!  This is the last reminder about getting your tall palms trimmed.  The deadline in Esperanza Estates is this Wednesday, June 30.  Homeowners can hire anyone they desire to do the work.  EE has an agreement with Monstrosity Tree Service, 520-230-7131, for $80/tree which they will honor for everyone in EE. Trees untrimmed after June 30 will be trimmed by the HOA, and homeowners will be billed $90/tree.  Please call Cyndie Alto, 509-881-7569 ,with questions.
CARING CONNECTIONS
Garage Theft
The LaVoi's report that a very expensive drill that was on the shelf in their garage was stolen.  Their garage door was open at the time.  Very sorry to hear that happened.  It's a good reminder to all of us to be careful.
