On behalf of the Saskatchewan Allied Association (Canadian Society of Club Managers, Golf Saskatchewan, National Golf Course Owners Association Canada, PGA of Canada, Saskatchewan Zone and Saskatchewan Turfgrass Association), we wanted to ensure that you were aware of the recent announcements regarding golf within the updated version of the
Re-Open Saskatchewan
plan which was announced yesterday by the Provincial Government.
Some of the updated guidelines within the June 4th version of the Re-Open Saskatchewan plan include:
- Clubhouse can re-open on Monday under food service guidelines effective Monday.
- Beer carts / snack shacks can re-open under same effective Monday.
- Extended household permitted to ride in golf cart together effective Friday.
Please note that all operating guidelines for golf previously announced effective May 15
th
unless modified by the June 4
th
updates still apply.
As an industry, we continue to remain vigilant to ensure that all public health measures are met or exceeded at our respective golf courses moving forward.
The Saskatchewan Allied Golf Associations will continue to maintain regular dialogue and engagement with the Province of Saskatchewan as we move into the summer and the next phases of the Re-Open Saskatchewan plan.
