Residents interested in joining the program must sign up by October 22 via the opt-in form or by calling 216-664-3030 and agree to the recycling program guidelines. The ongoing recycling program changes are part of an effort to reduce contamination from curbside recycling, reduce program costs, and improve efficiency of waste collection operations. West 11th Street Pedestrian Bridge Painting
Saturday, September 11th & Sunday, September 12th
Hello, Tremont Residents and Friends,
It's been a long time and I miss all of you! I've got something that might help bring us together again doing something fun and creative.

My block club HBR/MCC painted the deck of our two pedestrian bridges last year a light gray. This year we want to add color. We are turning the w. 11th st. bridge into a rainbow bridge utilizing dots and just the 3 primary colors. A pointillist rainbow.

We plan to carry this out over the weekend of Sept. 11th/12th. We will need a team of folks from 4 to 6 at a time to help 1) sweep ahead of us 2) pouring the paint for the dabbers 3) a couple of folks with DIY dabbers on long poles that I will be creating.

On the first day, we will lay down the areas of the primary colors and the lighter color of the secondary color. On the second day, we go back and create the secondary color. We'll get a sign-up going for you to sign up for whatever amount of time or day you can help, but first gathering names of those who are interested and available.

So who wants to make a rainbow bridge with us!?
Please respond with interest and general availability.
Sincerely,
Angelica Pozo
