Partnering in Jesus' Name
CPI Continues to Serve with Churches in the USA & Overseas
The year 2020 has been one that no one will forget! But despite the physical, economic, and social challenges and hardships the world experienced this year, our God still reigns supreme. And we praise Him here at Caring Partners International (CPI) because He continued to open doors for us and our church partners to reach people with the Gospel all over the world through healthcare.

In 2020, CPI has donated more than 100,000 pounds of food to benefit those in need here in the United States. We are blessed to have a large, spacious warehouse where our volunteers can come serve, yet be socially distanced. And globally, our ministry of Evangelism Through Medicine® continues. An example directly below - photos of our Thai church partner's Eyeglass Clinic outreach earlier this month. The church team received Thai government approval to minister to a closed Lisu village in the foothills of the mountains surrounding Chiang Rai, and 24 souls came to faith in Jesus Christ as a result!

"Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, Unto Him be glory..." Ephesians 3:20-21

CPI Donates Supplies Following Hurricanes Eta & Iota
FLOOD RELIEF

In November, two hurricanes brought devastation to Guatemala and all of Central America - Eta and Iota. By God's grace, CPI missionary Dr. Adam Reed arrived into Guatemala on November 13th, bringing almost 200 pounds of donated medications with him. Our National Director Helmuth Marroquin and our Guatemalan church partners were able to use some of those medications to benefit flood victims. The photos above show Helmuth and his home church transporting some of those medications, as well as food and clothing, to villages in the affected areas, where many have become homeless as a result of the storms. Pray for our Guatemalan church partners as they continue to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the men, women, and children impacted by these storms.

"And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." John 12:32

Pray Without Ceasing 1 Th 5:17

Our CPI team has begun planning for several Ministry Events in 2021 - a Painting Party, our Annual Banquet, a 5k Walk/Run, and a Golf Tournament. Due to continued social distancing recommendations, we believe some of these events will be virtual. Challenges await, but we are excited about these new opportunities. Pray for Corporate Sponsors to join with us for this expanded exposure for our ministry, and for the Lord to give our planning team wisdom as we manage and prepare all the technical & practical aspects of hosting these events.

God willing, CPI will return to the international mission field with a healthcare team traveling to Guatemala this coming March 10 - 17. CPI Missionary Dr. Adam Reed and our National Director Helmuth Marroquin visited with our planned church partner and community leaders last month to begin the planning process. The church will register patients in advance, using tickets with approximate appointment times. As arranged, many other public health precautions will be maintained during the clinic for patients, providers, and volunteers. By God's grace, the team is well-staffed, but two more medical doctors are still needed.

The heartbeat of CPI is sharing the Gospel, through local churches, through healthcare. To better accomplish this mission, our ministry team is developing a pamphlet (tract) to clearly share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. These pamphlets can be distributed to our churches to hand deliver to all the recipients of our food donations. Pray with us that the Lord will use this project in a mighty way to lead people to Jesus!

Many of CPI's ministry team, church partners, and supporters have been personally affected by Covid-19. Please join us in prayer that through this time of uncertainty, fear & suffering, that the Lord will heal & comfort the sick, that He will be lifted up, and the hope of the Gospel message will spread throughout this world, to His glory!
Merry Christmas
