Save the date for the Entrepreneurship Workshop on Saturday, April 6th, at Mississippi College!
Would-be entrepreneurs dreaming of starting their own business can take the first step toward that reality by attending a free, hands-on workshop Saturday, April 6 at Mississippi College.
The Entrepreneurship Workshop is jointly sponsored by the J.L. Holloway Center for Entrepreneurship in the Mississippi College School of Business, the Clinton Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Clinton. Participants will receive real-life advice on how to start and successfully grow a new business idea as well as hear first-hand experiences shared by successful local entrepreneurs and small business owners.
Topics to be covered during the event include: legal aspects of starting a business, insurance, marketing plans, social media, accounting, financing and much more. Participants will also have the opportunity to have their specific business questions answered by the workshop leaders and guest business representatives.
The workshop will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude around 2:30 p.m. Lunch will be served. There is no cost to attend, but advance registration is required by going online to: entworkshop.rsvpify.com
The J.L. Holloway Center for Entrepreneurship is located on the MC campus on the basement level of Self Hall (The MC School of Business.) Self Hall is situated at the corner of College and Jefferson streets.
