Dear Lakesiders,

Last weekend, we welcomed individuals and families back to the grounds for a wonderful Lakeside Christmas. Children rode the express train, met with Santa, and experienced story time. In the evening, Lakesiders gathered for a festive Christmas Dinner in Wesley Lodge.

This weekend, Chip Richter will sing and dance with children at a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday morning and put on a spectacular concert with The Munks in the afternoon. You and your family won't want to miss these enriching experiences and more at Lakeside on December 9 and 10.

Not to forget, we're celebrating the arrival of the New Year with the Donut Drop and hope to see you all in Lakeside for these winter weekends.

As the holiday season approaches, the Board and staff work continues. We want to keep you abreast of Lakeside's Rules and Regulations revisions and the work of the Streets and Drainage Advisory Task Force. Enclosed you'll find updates and next steps.
With anticipation,

Lakeside's Rules and Regulations revisions
In November, we updated the community about the Lakeside Association Board of Directors' work over the last three years to review Lakeside's Rules and Regulations. The goal of the Rules and Regulations was to create the best experience for our community members and guests.

As shared, the Board will be voting on the amendments to the Rules and Regulations at the February 17, 2023 meeting. While these rules have been thoroughly discussed, reviewed, and are likely to pass, the Board would greatly appreciate your feedback and considerations.

You can review the proposed revisions at lakesideohio.com/rules. The Lakeside Association Board of Directors encourage you to submit your comments before Monday, Dec. 19 with the electronic comment card or by emailing Lakeside Association Board Chair, Jane Anderson, to request a phone call.
Streets and Drainage Advisory Task Force
The Streets and Drainage Advisory (SDA) Task Force members met for the first meeting via Zoom on November 30.

Kip Greenhill, Lakeside Chautauqua President & CEO, welcomed and thanked everyone for joining the call. Jim Shelley and David Blank, Task Force co-chairs, were introduced as well as all members. The group will review the streets and drainage reports for the next meeting on December 16.

The SDA Task Force will work over the next six to eight months and begin setting up meetings for the 2023 year and developing a work plan timeline.
