To determine the next course of action, the HSLM Animal Health team promptly took Milo to another Veterinarian for a second opinion about treatment. Due to Milo’s small size, young age and ability to walk without use of his fourth leg already, the Veterinarian strongly recommended that the fractured leg be amputated.
To minimize Milo's pain and discomfort caused by the fracture, HSLM has scheduled the surgery date for Tuesday, September 8th, 2020.
We ask that you consider contributing to the cost of Milo’s surgery and recovery HERE.
Stayed tuned for an update next week about how Milo is doing, post-surgery!
