NEW: SAR Advocacy Campaign

Your association staff and partners have been working the past few months to create a body of creative material to help our members engage with a regional housing advocacy program.

Good news – those assets are now finished and available to help support your business!

We are excited to share with you an exclusive collection of resources, specifically designed for SAR members around the theme “Together Stronger.”

You’ll find all of these resources available now in your SAR Housing Advocacy Member Kit, online here:

If you need help deploying these assets, please consult with your Managing Broker. Also, your staff at the Spokane Association of REALTORS® will be happy to assist.

We’re here to support you and your business every day. Let us know how we can help.

Thank you for your membership in the Spokane Association of REALTORS®!

FREE Safety Class
3 CE Hours!

Real Estate Safety Matters:
Safe Business = Smart Business

Tuesday, September 14th
9 a.m. to noon

September is REALTOR® Safety Month - that time of year when your local, state, and national REALTOR® associations remind you - and we remind each other - to consider safety as a top priority in all we do.

Instructor - Terry Eccles-Pettet

Developed in partnership with NAR's REALTOR® Safety program, this three-hour course is an essential primer on how real estate professionals can limit risk to preserve safety, "their safety, their clients' safety"and for positive business outcomes.

Students will learn how to assess risk in their current practice and create safety systems, scripts, and tools for listing appointments, showing property, and conducting open houses.

Students will also learn how to protect personal and electronic information online, in the cloud, and on social networks.

As a practical resource, this course offers easy-to-remember strategies for real estate professionals when facing potentially dangerous situations.

NEW!

All real estate brokers are required to deliver real estate services with "reasonable skill and care" but what does that actually mean?

How do you know how a "reasonably prudent real estate broker" would act?

Washington REALTORS® Legal Hotline lawyer Annie Fitzsimmons explains and provides resources.

Watch Annie's new five-minute video online here:
New Hours for County Offices
Spokane County announces new office hours for the Assessor, Auditor, Board of Equalization, and Treasurer.

These offices will be open for normal office hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays beginning September 13th.

These offices have closed at 1:00 p.m. on Fridays for more than a decade.

Washington REALTORS®
Virtual Fall Business Conference
September 22-24
The Washington REALTORS® Executive Committee has decided that our 2021 Fall Business Conference will be held virtually this year.

It had previously been announced that the event would take place in person, in Wenatchee; the room block had already sold out.

New guidance from the governor and concern over increasing cases of COVID-19 caused this decision.

So we persevere.

Registration is open now.

The content will still be strong and valuable for your business.

Think of it as the entire conference coming to you!
REALTORS® Vision Insurance

Plans provide coverage for exams, frames, lenses, and other eye health expenses.

There are two plans to choose from, each with its own unique benefits.
