Links of North Dakota ranked 35th in US, 1st in North Dakota
Golfweek - Each year Golfweek publishes three lists that are the foundation of its course-ratings program: Golfweek’s Best Modern CoursesGolfweek’s Best Classic Courses and Golfweek’s Best Courses You Can Play, state-by-state. The Links of North Dakota was ranked 35th overall and 1st in North Dakota. The Links credits co-superintendents Ben Crosswait and Tyler Foster for the course's excellent condition. Read More
STAR Fund benefits FlowCore Systems through Unique Collaboration
Williston Economic Development - Williston Economic Development (WED) and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) were not afraid of trying something new to help a primary sector startup get going in Williston. The two groups partnered with Tri County Regional Development Council and First International Bank and Trust Company to assist FlowCore Systems during its first few years. “FlowCore’s dilemma was not unique to what other manufacturing startups encounter,” said WED Executive Director Shawn Wenko.  Read More
Williston Road Construction Updates
News Release - The following are new progress updates regarding ongoing summer construction projects throughout the City of Williston. Gravel is in place at the intersection of 16th Avenue West and 26th Street and Knife River concrete is scheduled to pour curb and gutter on August 13. The intersection will then be paved and is scheduled to reopen barring any extreme weather delays on August 18. Read More
Construction begins on Seed Cleaning Plant in Williston
KUMV-TV - As early as next year, farmers may be able to purchase higher quality seed from the Williston Research Extension Center, as construction is underway at its new seed cleaning plant. Read More
Creedence Energy renovates Historic Building in Downtown Minot
Minot Daily News - Multiple renovation projects are in the works in Downtown Minot. At 21 E. Central Ave., a three-story building with about 6,000 square feet on each floor is being converted into office space, with remodeling of the first floor for a potential tenant such as a food and beverage business. Building owner Kevin Black plans to locate his business, Creedence Energy, on the second floor. The building opened in 1903. It originally housed Minot Grocery. Read More
New Advisory Board helps Immigrant-owned Businesses
Minot Daily News - Culture differences, language and often other barriers can stand in the way of immigrant business owners who could benefit from assistance programs to help them navigate the new world created by COVID-19. A newly organized New American / Foreign Born / Immigrant Advisory Board to the state departments of Health and Human Services has taken on the task of raising awareness and educating immigrants on the state’s new Economic Resiliency Grant (ERG) program. Art & Wine Walk September 10 in Downtown Williston
