The National Vaccine Month of Action began on June 4 and continues to July 4. Its primary goal is to increase COVID-19 vaccinations particularly in communities hit hardest by the virus. There are several opportunities for students looking to volunteer, including many online events. These events can be found by clicking "I want to help others get vaccinated" located on the main page of the website.

Volunteers Needed for Farmers Market in Eatonton
Volunteer at the Harmony Park Farmers Market in Eatonton to help improve health literacy in rural communities. Volunteer shifts are Saturday morning from 7:45am until 12pm on:

National EM and Pediatrics Residency Program Webinar
June 17 | 8 pm - 9 pm
The webinar is for all medical students interested in learning more about the dual emergency medicine and pediatrics training program. The panel of EM/Peds program directors will discuss the uniqueness of dual EM/Peds training, career opportunities, and application preparation for EM/Peds residency. There will also be an open Q&A session at the end for interested students to ask questions directly to the program directors.
