Construction on 11 Mile Road
Please be advised there is 11 Mile Road construction by Mercy HS, so plan for arrival delays and allow ample travel time. You may find it beneficial to use Waze or Google Maps for navigation assistance.
The westbound lane of 11 Mile Road between Middlebelt and Inkster is closed and only the eastbound lane is open. This affects our normal traffic flow pattern into and out of Mercy High School parking lots.
To accommodate this, the South/11 Mile Rd Parking Lot - Flagpole Entrance and West/Middlebelt Rd Parking Lot - Lobby Entrance will have separate entrances and exits. Traffic will not be able to travel between the two parking lots, so plan your route to enter and exit the same lot. This will help traffic flow in/out of the lots and ease traffic flow at the 11 & Middlebelt intersection during drop-off and pick-up times.
The 11 Mile Rd parking lot will be accessed with a left turn in only to main entrance and a left turn out only of main exit. The Middlebelt Rd parking lot will be accessed with a right turn in only to enter and a right turn out only to exit. Once turning right out of the West/Lobby lot cars can use the athletic parking lot (on the right) or the condominium complex (on the left) to head south on Middlebelt.
The drop off route for the West/Middlebelt lot should not interfere with student parking. Please proceed with caution in all parking lots. Buses will drop-off and pick-up at the Flagpole Entrance.
