PCC Seeks Digital Inclusion for Seniors
in Rural Areas
Palmetto Care Connections (PCC), a non-profit telehealth organization, recently received a $19,500 Rural Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) grant and an additional $25,000 pledge from S.C. Department on Aging to implement a digital inclusion program for seniors in Allendale, Barnwell, Clarendon, Lower Richland and Williamsburg counties.

PCC Releases 2020 Annual Report
The 2020 Annual Report is available! In 2020, PCC celebrated 10 years of serving the rural and underserved areas of our state through technology, broadband, and telehealth adoption strategies. Much has been accomplished but there is still so much more to do! This Annual Report highlights many of the ways that PCC has worked diligently to close the gaps in telehealth and broadband accessibility through implementation, education, and advocacy.

Emergency Broadband Benefit
The Emergency Broadband Benefit Program was created to assist low-income households with broadband/internet access during the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible households can receive up to $50/household/month and up to $75/household/month living on native tribal lands.

Eligible households can enroll through a participating broadband provider or directly with the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) using an online or mail in application.
