Hello everyone!

I sure have missed seeing you and look forward to when we are all back together!! I am also really excited that Vacation Bible School time is almost here! But this summer instead of having VBS inside the church building you will be participating from home. We are offering our VBS program virtually. That means you can use it daily, weekly, monthly or however it works for your family!

The theme for this year is FOCUS: Take a closer look.
Your family will have a blast discovering how to trust in what you CAN’T see because of what you CAN see by putting the FOCUS on God and His amazing plan for us.
Through memorable Bible stories and lessons, children will learn to SEE God in creation (Romans 1:20), HEAR from God like the wise and foolish builders (Matthew 7:24-27), TALK to others, just like Peter did, about believing that Jesus is the Messiah (Matthew 16:13-20), PRAY anytime, anywhere and about anything through the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:5-13), and LIVE for God by loving others and recognizing the greatest commandment (Matthew 22:36-40; 1 Corinthians 13).

Along with the Bibles stories, children will sing and dance, play games, create and pray!  Oh, and one more thing, start saving toilet paper and paper towel roles now!! You are going to need them for one of the fun activities.

We'd love to see all the creative artwork and projects done by our children. We invite you to share on social media pictures and videos using  #FMCVBS2020.

Deadline to register is June 8. You can register on our church website, fmconroe.org/vbs or you can find the information on our FMC Children’s Ministry Facebook page.

Supply pick-up will take place on Monday, June 15 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the main office entrance of First Methodist Conroe.
If you have any questions, please email me at jmedved@fmconroe.org.

Let us keep looking to Jesus. He is the one who started this journey of faith. And he is the one who completes the journey of faith. Hebrews 12:2a

Blessings!
