Today we kick-off an exciting week at our 24th Annual American Indian Tourism Conference (AITC). We have world renowned speakers, artisans, and exhibitors joining us at Harrah's Resort Southern California in Funner, CA.

Please be sure to download the mobile app for the 24th Annual AITC. A majority of the conference attendees have already downloaded the conference app. If you have not, please click this Link to download our conference app.

 

The conference app will have the latest updates.  You will need the app to bid on Silent Auction items. 


Directions to download the app:

 

  1. Enter the email address that you registered for the conference
  2. There is no password. Your email will let you into the app
  3. Create a password and click Sign Up
  4. Fill in your networking profile and click "Continue"
  5. Select "Silent Auction" icon in the app to sign up, review, bid, and buy!

Presentation of Native American Tourism Study 

Our goal is to empower Indian Tribes, Tribal Organizations and Native Hawaiian organizations to participate fully in the tourism industry. The study seeks to identify where technical assistance is needed and to provide recommendations on coordination and delivery of technical assistance. We will release the full findings on Tuesday, October 25th during out AITC Town Hall. Stay tuned for the full report and recommendations to support increased travel to Indian Country. 

ASU Cultural Heritage Certificate

Registration Now Open for Spring 2023

The purpose of the online Sustainable Tourism for Native Nations and Communities Certificate (STC) is to provide participants with an overview of sustainable tourism and how it can be incorporated into their community’s tourism planning and development. The certificate will provide sustainable tourism curriculum with a specific emphasis on American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian tourism efforts offered both as a professional development option and university credit.
