COVID-19 Nutrition CPE is a Success
|
Our Department of Clinical and Preventive Nutrition Sciences and the SHP Student Dietetic Association teamed up to hold a free course entitled “Update on Nutrition Management of Patients with COVID-19: Where the Evidence Meets the Front Line”.
Over 100 participants from the U.S. and globally attended via Zoom. The course offered nutrition and dietetics professionals the opportunity to earn CPE credits while learning about topics that focused on the application of nutrition-based care to patients with COVID-19.

Decisions, Decisions: Helping Students with Psychiatric Conditions Navigate Disclosure in the Academic Environment

Federal Bar Association blog

SLP Faculty Invited to Speak Out on Inclusion

Valerie Johnson, program director of our new
M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology, and faculty member
Jose Centano, have been invited to weigh in on issues of equity and inclusion in the communications sciences. In July, Valerie joined other notable scholars in a Virtual Town Hall hosted by Speech-Language Pathologists of Color and Speech-Language Pathology Private Practice in Color. On Aug. 7, she and Jose are also presenting workshops at the NJSHA Virtual Mini-Convention.

Pamela Rothpltez-Puglia Receives Second RBHS Grant

Pamela received an RBHS Innovations in Education and Teaching Pilot Grant in the amount of $5,000 for the proposal, “Creating Student Co-Ownership of an Online Experiential Approach to Scientific Inquiry”.
Congratulations to Pamela who also recently received an RBHS-IDEA Innovation Grant, which supports action-oriented projects that promote an inclusive, diverse, and cohesive culture at RBHS.
