Safety & Health Reminders
As we prepare to start school tomorrow, please remember the following items:
  • Students being dropped off between 6:30-6:55 a.m. in front of Harrison will need to enter the campus through the gate by the theatre lobby which leads into the courtyard.
  • Students will pass through a temperature check station when they arrive to campus each morning.
  • Students will remain outside in the courtyard or in the LHS cafeteria (where there is free breakfast) before school until 6:50.
  • Directional hallway and sidewalk maps can be found on our Back-To-School page.
  • If your student is not feeling well, please do not send them to school. (This includes the first day of school!)
  • All students are required to wear face masks properly and maintain social distancing throughout the campus.
  • Students should wash and sanitize their hands throughout the day. Hand sanitizer can be found in every classroom and several other locations around the campus.
  • Please make sure your student is off campus by 2:30 each afternoon. Students should go home by bus, car, or walking for those who live nearby. There are no after-school rehearsals/meetings at Harrison scheduled for at least the first four weeks of school. Students should not be waiting around on campus for a ride past 2:30. (There will be no late-shuttle buses to start the school year.)

Info for eSchool Students
Harrison eSchool students will need to attend virtual classes through the program Schoology, which is located in each student’s ClassLink account. Students can access a link to log into their ClassLink on the Harrison website under 'Links’. eSchool students will find more info in Schoology from their specific teachers.
Click here to access a document to help you setup your Schoology account if you haven't done so already. eSchool students who are missing a class should email their counselor on Monday.

Polk County Public Schools has a tech support hotline to assist our eSchool students this year. Beginning Monday, Aug. 24, families can call 863-733-0331 for help with eSchool tech questions and issues. Staff will be available to answer calls on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For additional help, please visit the PCPS Technology Resources page for helpful information on Schoology and other topics.
First Day Student Schedules
Campus students will get a hard copy of their student schedule from their first period teacher on Monday morning. Students should check their Student Portal tonight or Monday morning to see who their 1st period teacher is and their room number (it may have changed since Thursday as we have been balancing class numbers). Schedule changes will only be made for students who have been scheduled for a class they've already taken. Do not come to the office to request a schedule change, please email your counselor.
If you are an eSchool student and are missing a class still, please email your counselor on Monday. Thank you.
Harrison Parents' Association
Harrison could not be as successful as we are without the support of our amazing parents' association! Our first HPA meeting of the year will take place virtually on August 25 at 7:30 p.m. To sign-up to attend the meeting, please click here. The deadline to sign-up is Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.

We would love for all of our parents to join the HPA as members. There are three different membership levels available. If you would like to join by check, please click here to access the form and mail it in to the school. If you would like to join using your credit card, you can click here to access the online membership form.
