Election Day Information
|
Due to the Library being a polling location for Precinct 18 for the Election on Tuesday, August 4, the building will be closed for general public use. Precinct 18 is open 7am-8pm.
Services Available, 10am-9pm:
- Drive-Up window & locker services by appointment
- Available hold pick-up
- Library card sign-up/renewal
- Information Services with a Librarian
- Café services beginning at 7am
- Craft Grab-N-Go pick-up

NPL is still in the Grab-and-Go Phase 4 of its reopening plan. Services have been added!
Starting Monday, August 10:
Printing, scanning and copying will be available! There is still no computer access at this time.
Also in Phase 4:
- Masks required (Executive Order 2020-153)
- Visits of 30 minutes or less; small groups of 1-2 people strongly encouraged
- Social distancing guidelines in place
- Materials returned will be quarantined for 96 hours (CDC)
- Return slot open during regular business hours of operation
- Locker & Drive-Up Window pick-up by appt.
- Library Café and Book Nook are OPEN
- Virtual programs at novilibrary.org
- No computers, meeting or study rooms available

Donations - Starting August 13,
Thursdays ONLY from 10am-7pm!
|
- Accepted ONLY on Thursdays from 10am-7pm (weather permitting).
- Drop off donations at the back of the Library, NOT at the front doors (go to entry off of Taft Rd. by Novi High School).
- Place "recent" items in "great" condition in the large black donation bin near the library staff entrance.
- Items not accepted for donation are: old/moldy/wet materials, magazines, textbooks, encyclopedias, VHS tapes, cassette tapes and Reader's Digests.
- Items donated will be quarantined for 72 hours. Donations can become part of the Library's collection and/or the Friends Book Nook, Thrift Books, Recycling or Discarded.

New Pop-Up Exhibit at NPL!
Rightfully Hers is now on view near the patio doors during August.
This new pop-up exhibit from the National Archives commemorates the 10th Anniversary of the
19th Amendment. Explore the history of the ratification of this historic amendment, women's voting rights before and after, and its impact today.

Friends of the Novi Public Library is a dynamic group of individuals dedicated to supporting NPL. The Friends assist the Library through fundraising activities, volunteer work, and public presentations.

Come browse the Book Nook's excellent selection of books for purchase. Please use the existing Book Nook "hold" process if you would like a book in the glass case and a Friends Volunteer will contact you within one week. Use the Honor Box for payment.
