"We Share God's Gift of Love with All"

Prayer of the Day

O God, our true life, to serve you is freedom, and to know you is unending joy. We worship you, we glorify you, we give thanks to you for your great glory. Abide with us, reign in us, and make this world into a fit habitation for your divine majesty, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen (From Sundays and Seasons.)

UPCOMING EVENTS & UPDATES

Showing Gratitude Through Giving!

Using our Purpose Statement, “We Share God’s Gift of Love with All”, and one of our six guiding principles, “We are a Community of Joy, Gratitude and Generosity” as a foundation, this year we are focusing on the financial aspect of stewardship during November.

What an exciting time at Immanuel. At giving Sunday on November 13th, we had over 80 parishioners in attendance! The received giving estimate cards were blessed during the service. Thank you to all who have submitted their estimates.

Does that mean that it’s too late to turn in your card?  The answer is a firm no. If you would like to drop it off at the church, or bring it one of the next few Sundays or even take a picture of it and send it to Valerie Hanks, our financial secretary at  finance@ilcboise.org we would greatly appreciate it.

The information about your estimate in giving greatly helps the Finance Committee and Church Council as they prepare for the 2023 budget.

Call Committee Update

The Immanuel Call Committee received a new pastor candidate to consider in late October and completed a first interview last week via ZOOM. After prayerful discernment as a committee, we determined that we would release that candidate from our consideration. Please know that the committee is very reflective and understands the importance of our work. We are just as excited as you are to call a new pastor, but we also understand that it is important to find the right person that God is calling to Immanuel. Thank you for your continued prayers and patience. We are thankful and blessed to have Pastor Anne Palma with us as we continue through this transitional time.
