APRIL 18
THIRD SUNDAY OF EASTER
HOLY EUCHARIST--
IN-PERSON THIS WEEK-- 9AM
GOD MAKES ALL THINGS NEW!
On April 6th, Kim and Rich Miller welcomed their 6th grandchild, Zoe Elizabeth
Nunnally. Mother and baby are doing well!
Zoe is the first child of former acolyte and HNS alum LCDR Jessica Miller Nunnally, USN. Jessica is a Doctor of Nursing Practice, currently stationed at Camp Pendleton.
HOLY NATIVITY
SUNDAY SCHOOL TO RECONVENE APRIL 18
Ms. Chandi Hinrichs and Ms. Tusi Mayer will reopen classes, in person, on Sunday mornings at 9am, beginning on this coming Sunday! Children are welcome to join these classes, held outdoors on the lanai. Masks are required and everyone will observe social distancing.
Children are always welcome to attend or return to church with their parents, of course. We also understand if there are families who are not yet able to join us in person safely. Sunday School classes will be in session on all Sundays of the month except the second Sunday, which is a family service for the whole congregation.
HOLY NATIVITY SCHOOL BOARD SOLICITING NOMINATIONS FOR
NEW MEMBERS
The Nominating Committee (see contact information below) will be accepting applications through May 1st.
The Board strives for a diverse group of parents, parishioners and community members. They will be looking for individuals who can bring specific skills that can enhance our board as a group. Board meetings are scheduled once a month and there are other responsibilities that candidates can learn about anytime during the process.
Interested candidates are encouraged to prepare a resume, quick bio, or an email sharing their background. After all applications are received, the committee will schedule thirty-minute interviews with each person. The Nominating Committee will then present its final list of candidates to school and church leadership, who will make final decisions later in May.
If you have any questions, please email Rich Miller (rmiller@tpm-hawaii.com) or Tessa Gomes (tessa@fredandkate.com), who, along with School Board member Jodi Yoshioka and vestry member Lila Johnson, are members of the Nominating Committee.
