The next Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (or CARE) Check-In forum will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, on Zoom. This twice-a-semester workshop helps current CARE students connect with other CARE students and share beneficial resources. This forum provides a safe space for CARE students to discuss the concerns of a single, head of household parent. LASC's Spring Semester schedule has been released. Classes begin the week of February 8, 2021, and are a great way to get started or continue toward your goal of getting the education you need to acquire your degree, earn a promotion, or start a new career. Check out the schedule and plan to register. All classes will be online.
LASC's Winter Session is a great way to finish school quicker and reach your goals sooner. Classes last just five weeks from January 4 to February 7, 2021. Learn more. All classes will be online such as Administration of Justice 2, Section 10850. If you want to learn about criminal law and empower yourself when confronted with situations where you have to know the law, this is the class to take.

LASC's Financial Aid Office encourages students to utilize GetAnswers, an online library of short 60-90 second videos accessible on-demand. GetAnswers' videos detail complex financial aid information to current and prospective students in an easy to understand style. Learn more.
The 2021-22 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form is open for completion. Some aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so make sure to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible to be eligible for the most aid. Learn more.
