The Terraces Corner

Congratulations to Shannon Brandon

Shannon Brandon was recently promoted to Executive Director of Assisted Living and Memory Care at The Terraces.

Terraces Converting 9 Assisted Living Residences to Skilled Nursing

The Terraces recently received approval from the Department of Community Health to convert 9 existing residences currently licensed for Assisted Living to Skilled Nursing capable of providing both short term rehabilitation as well as long term care. The Terraces now has 25 private licensed Skilled Nursing residences. The Farm household also has a full kitchen, a large dining room, sitting room and porch for Members to enjoy.

Deficiency Free Report

On November 10, 2022, Skilled Nursing at the Terraces at Peachtree Hills Place received a Deficiency Free Report from the Georgia Department of Community Health.

When you have a Deficiency Free Survey, this means the state surveyors found zero deficiencies in your building. The survey is unannounced and conducted over a three-day period. Interviews are also conducted with associates, members, and families. Skilled Nursing was in total compliance with state and federal regulations regarding patient care and staffing. This is very difficult to obtain and most administrators do not get a deficiency free survey in their entire career. This is our team approach to providing the highest level of care. A survey includes a rigorous examination of the quality of care, quality of life, medical records, medication administration, staff competencies, dietary sanitation and dietary needs, equipment safety, resident rights and a full in-depth assessment of facility practices and procedures. The Terraces Skilled Nursing has not had a survey since October 2020.
