This high quality black beauty is powered by a 3.2 liter air cooled flat six cylinder engine producing 217 horsepower connected to the much improved G50 five speed manual transmission offered on the last series of G body Porsches. Perhaps the most eye catching aspect of this car is the custom interior and accents designed and installed by Hof Designs of Dearborn, MI. The new front seat trim is leather with stunning green tartan plaid inserts, reminiscent of the optional interiors on the early 930 Turbos. Complementing the tartan plaid are subtle touches of green stitching on the steering wheel, door trim panels, instrument panel and a green finish on the insides of the Fuchs wheels. Nearly every trim piece of the interior is new – seats, door trim panels, instrument panel and carpeting. The end result is a dramatic yet tasteful appearance change which makes this 911 unique.
This is a four owner car with complete service records from day one. The present owner and PCA member bought the car from a private owner in 2012 at 81,200 miles. The odometer currently reads 93,078. During his watch the car has never intentionally been driven in the rain, and has been stored every winter. As a result, the body and paint are outstanding. The car rides and drives like new. The car has been lowered and the air conditioner and alarm system have been removed. The convertible top, top boot and all accompanying weather stripping is new. A mellow sounding M&K sport exhaust has been added and the catalytic converter has been deleted. A Pioneer audio head unit now resides in the instrument panel.
The car comes with complete books, a detailed log of all service repairs and updates, a Coverking car cover and a battery tender.
