Menlo Park Reopens Additional Outdoor Recreation Facilities Effective June 25
Effective Thursday, June 25 , the City of Menlo Park reopened additional outdoor recreation facilities with health and safety precautions designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and comply with state and county health orders. The new local order ( Menlo Park Local Order No. 7 ) reopens the Skate Park, public tennis courts, public basketball courts and public park restrooms. 

Precautionary health and safety requirements, including guidance on  mandatory face coverings and social distancing requirements , from both the state and county remain in effect at all city facilities, and where applicable, in public spaces.

  • Use face covering and provide them to those who need one.
  • Ensure hand sanitizer is readily available.
  • Practice and encourage physical distancing.
  • Follow CDC cleaning protocols.
  • Continuously innovate to reduce touch points.
  • Provide our staff with COVID-19 awareness training.

Once signed by a business partner, this Pledge states that the business and its employees are taking every precaution to keep visitors safe and healthy as we move through the phases of reopening in our county.
