Dear Friends,

The 100 members of Arrupe Jesuit's class of 2020 have so much to celebrate from the past four years. They have distinguished themselves as excellent students, dedicated leaders, qualified young professionals through our Corporate Work Study Program, and as caring men and women for others. They have responded generously amid the disruption to their final months of senior year and will greatly enrich the college and university communities they join this fall. May God continue to bless these graduates abundantly!
Graduation has been rescheduled for later this summer on Friday, July 24. To celebrate our seniors in a socially-distant way, faculty and staff recently delivered personalized yard signs and a care package with their cap and gown, a t-shirt from their chosen college, and a keepsake medal to each Senior. A large banner is proudly displayed in front of the school, congratulating the Class of 2020 and displaying the logos of all of the colleges they will attend this fall.

After you enjoy reading the accomplishments of this class below, I hope you’ll consider joining us this Friday for a special tradition - the Blessing of the Medals. Though normally part of our Graduation Ceremony, we’ll use this virtual format to hear from student representatives and celebrate our seniors as they complete their high school journey.

We offer thanksgiving for the blessings that God bestows upon our community, and for the opportunity for us all to know Him more fully through the mission of Arrupe Jesuit High School. May God continue to bless the members of the Class of 2020, you, and your loved ones.
Fr. John Nugent, SJ
