Fall Festivities and Giving Back at Fairfield Federal

As we embrace the arrival of autumn, I am filled with appreciation for the Fairfield Federal team, our customers and our community. This season has been nothing short of spectacular, thanks to abundant opportunities to gather together at local events and give back to causes near and dear to our hearts.

We had an excellent time volunteering during the United Way of Fairfield County's Community Care Day in September. Our team spent the day at the Lancaster-Fairfield Community Action Agency’s food pantry. It was such a rewarding experience that we plan to go back again next month to help put together food boxes for Thanksgiving.

It has become a tradition for Fairfield Federal to sponsor the annual Olivedale Senior Center’s 80+ Birthday Party, which celebrates seniors turning 80 years or older. As part of that tradition, our staff had the honor of serving lunch to all of the special attendees.

Another tradition we look forward to in the fall is our annual staff meeting and Random Acts of Kindness event on the Columbus Day holiday. Staff members were awarded cash stipends, which allowed them to choose how they would like to spread kindness in our community. Some of the initiatives included paying for groceries, meals and gas cards, along with supporting local organizations like the Fairfield County ADAMH Board, Fairfield County Humane Society, Lancaster City Schools, and more. Jennifer H. joined our team in 2020 and is a bookkeeper at our Main Office. Jennifer is known for her excellent communication with customers and her willingness to help out her peers. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, tie dying and playing sports. Her favorite food is mashed potatoes.

Fairfield Federal at the Fair

Fairfield Federal was pleased to provide ATM services at the Fairfield County Fair earlier this month. Our ATM was conveniently located by the main grandstand, near the Sugar Waffle truck.
