It's Pansy Planting Time!
After years of working in the industry and building a nursery business around Oklahoma's inclement weather, we are suggesting the following maintenance guidelines:


*  Plant your mums, pansies, and kale fall plantings. Don't forget to use Blood Meal.

* Plant ball & burlap ( B & B) trees for fall/winter planting.

* October is an excellent time to control broadleaf weeds in well established warm or cool-season lawns with
ferti-lome Weed Free Zone.NOTE: Don't apply to seedling fescue.

How To Choose & Plant Healthy Spring Flowering Bulbs  
 
Choose the biggest and most compact bulbs, as they bring forth larger blooms. Squishy bulbs are generally not in good condition and tend to bloom feebly or will not produce any blooms at all.

Soil prep is the most important thing you can do when it comes to successful bulb planting. If you have clay soil, loosen or rototill soil to a one foot depth mixing in one bag of Marcum's Redbud Compost every 10 square feet. More planting details...
