Highlights of Presentation and Discussion Items


The following items were presented to the Board:
Finance Report -
As of April 30, 2020 the Board learned the system is at 90.27  percent for the budget year. The Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax revenues for April 2020 were up .98 percent from 2019 collections and up 9.33 percent from last month. A financial statement, investment reports, and bond summaries were also shared, as well as a detailed capital projects analysis. 
Forsyth Teacher Academy - 
Beth Hebert,  Director of Human Resources, and Michelle Dugan, Coordinator of Alternative Certification and Induction, presented an update on our Forsyth Teacher Academy.  These include Induction & Mentoring, Endorsements and Georgia TAPP. The first cohort from the TAPP program were recognized for their graduation from the program. The presentation is here.
