The Path
God of power and might, you sent the prophets Elijah, Isaiah, and John the Baptist
to call your people to the path of righteousness. When we wander off, you seek us out and lead us back. Guide us onto the right path. Remove the obstacles that block our way. Strengthen us to continue forward in faith and hope. Protect us from all that endangers us. Compel us to support each other when we stumble or falter. Help us to walk the path of holiness more quickly every day until we are running with joy into your kingdom. Amen.

Dear Parishioners:
The Archdiocese’s Chancery Office recently issued a clarification about “live streaming” Masses during this time of social distancing:
"If your church reaches its capacity and additional people cannot be admitted, the principle of “No one is bound to the impossible” applies. If people cannot get into church for the Mass, there is no obligation for them to attend." READ FR. PHIL'S FULL MESSAGE

Our Parish and School gratefully acknowledge memorial gifts made to the Angel Fund on behalf of
Vera Thuemmler, Jane Adams, Mary Payne, Doris Thelen and David Steiner
These memorial gifts are a tribute to their commitment to Catholic education. This fund provides an average of $45,000 annually to families who would otherwise not be able to enroll in our school or faith formation program. May we always remember those who have found peace and joy in our loving Savior’s embrace.

"Grab and Go" - Free Community Meal
Hosted by St. John the Baptist
On Tuesday, December 15 we are offering a complimentary meal for members of our community. Burgers and Brats, potato salad and baked beans are on the menu. Pickup is between 5:15 pm – 5:45 pm at SJB’s playground parking lot. Call the SJB parish office at 920-892-4006 or click here to reserve your meal by noon on Friday, December 11.
Once again SJB & STA prepared an excellent "home-cooked" November Grab and Go meal in the commercial kitchen at SJB. A total of 150 meals were prepared and 46 of these meals were delivered by 3 crews to the homebound. The remainder of the meals were handed out by volunteers. SJB students did a beautiful job decorating the brown paper meal bags and providing cheerful greeting cards included with the meals. Thanks to everyone - from those who enjoyed the meals to those who cleaned the dishes and ALL those in between! We are looking forward to another December Grab and Go meal. See more information HERE.

A Message from the School Principal, Mrs. Amy Nelson
|
|
Advent season is upon us! Every Monday morning, students participate in a virtual Advent Prayer assembly. It is a beautiful time for our school family to reflect on the meaning of each week's candles of hope, peace, joy and love. The students are enjoying a bit of the spirit of Christmas by adorning the hallways and classrooms with an Advent and Christmas theme. May the spirit of Christmas fill each and every one of your hearts during this Advent season!
