Prayer to Saint Joseph
Glorious Patriarch Saint Joseph, whose power makes the impossible possible, come to my aid in these times of anguish and difficulty. Take under your protection the serious and troubling situations that I commend to you, that they may have a happy outcome. My beloved father, all my trust is in you. Let it not be said that I invoked you in vain, and since you can do everything with Jesus and Mary, show me that your goodness is as great as your power. Amen.
Happy Father's Day!
This is a day of gratitude for our fathers!

Fathers, I wish to thank you for your faithful fatherhood. You have cooperated with God and have decided to love. With love in your heart for your beautiful bride, you have created new life. This precious new life in your care means that you now put your wants and desires behind you. You help your children grow and mature into people of integrity and faith.

To our older dad’s, whose children are grown, thank you for all the sacrifices you have made to help us become honorable men and women. To our younger dads, who still have your children in your home, run the good race and be faithful and loving. This way, your children may know they are always loved and that they may grow strong in a loving and secure family.

Whatever your relationship with your dad may be, please say a prayer for him on this day. With his love for you, he gave you his all. In his weakness, he may have wounded you; however, ask God’s blessing upon him today.

St. Joseph and St. Joachim pray for our fathers.

St. Joseph is known for his fatherhood to Jesus and St. Joachim is known for his fatherhood to the Blessed Mother, Mary.

"Saints Joachim and Anne are beloved in the Church, though nothing is said of them in the Bible. not even their names are recorded. According to ancient traditional, Anne and her husband Joachim were married for decades without having a child. In answer to their prayers, an angel appeared and told them they would soon receive a child who "shall be spoken of in all the world." -The Catholic Source Book
