State of Arkansas  
Arkansas saw its second largest single-day increase in community COVID-19 positive cases today. In the last 24 hours the state has seen an increase of 358 new cases with just two of those in correctional facilities and 356 in the general community. The majority (65.4 percent) of the new cases are in Northwest Arkansas followed with 37 (10.3 percent) new cases in the Central Region, which includes Garland County. 
 
Hutchinson said that the state is looking at the potential for the state to enter Phase II of reopening on a regional basis. Any reopening will be based on Reopening America guidelines from the White House, which you can read here
 
The total cumulative cases in Arkansas is now 8,425. Of those, 2,355 are active cases with 137 hospitalized and 32 are on ventilators. So far, 5,919 have recovered. There were nine more deaths reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 151 in Arkansas.   
 
Of the positive cases, 43 are in correctional facilities, 95 are in nursing homes and 2,355 are in the general community.

Saline & Garland Counties 
As of Thursday, 121 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Saline County and 3,674 have tested negative. Of those testing positive, 95 have recovered. The total number of people who have died in Saline County remains at one.  
 
In Garland County, 138 people have tested positive for COVID-19 and 4,110 have tested negative. Of the people infected, 132 have recovered and one has died.
