E-Commerce Exchange Zone
Are you using Facebook Marketplace, Let Go, Craig’s List, and similar sites to buy/sell items this holiday season? Grand Haven Township cares about your safety when making these exchanges. That is why an “E-Commerce Exchange Zone” was established in the Township parking lot at 13300 168th Avenue.

This designated location is within full view of security cameras and is between the Fire/Rescue station and the Ottawa County Sheriff satellite office for the Township.

Whether you’re exchanging items you’ve bought/sold online or need a safe place for child custody exchanges, we invite you to use this area. It is available 24/7 and is recorded by security cameras.

If you need police response always call 911. Stay safe.
Angel Tree
The Salvation Army Angel Tree program is celebrating their 30th year…and the need is greater than ever.

Each year, the Township participates with Angel Tree—idea tags and gift drop-off. It looks a bit different this year, but we are still participating! Everything is located within the vestibule of the Administration Building. Idea tags are taped to the windows and there is a box for gift drop-off.

Our lobby may be closed, but the Township is still open for business and limited staff are working in the building each day with the all other staff working remotely. Don’t be concerned with leaving gifts in the vestibule because staff check the area multiple times each day and the vestibule is recorded by security cameras.

There are new ways to participate this year too! The Salvation Army is working with the Walmart Registry for Good to provide a completely contact-free donation. You can find products needed for Angel Tree gifts pre-loaded onto the website and you can have the item delivered directly to the Salvation Army. Go to Walmart Registry for Good to shop online.

If you would like an idea tag mailed to you, please give us a call at (616) 842-5988 and we’re happy to work with you on finding the right idea tag.

Stay safe, stay healthy, keep doing good.
