     Here are some cold-weather camping tips from Outside Magazine!


  1. Always check weather conditions and hazards 
  2. Secure your campsite and flatten your sleeping surface 
  3. Bring an insulated sleeping bag
  4. make sure tent/trailer is insulated 
  5. Don't breath or borrow in sleeping bag
  6. wear proper sleeping clothes for cold temps
  7. make sure gear stays dry
  8. Remove morning frost
  9. insulate your water bottle
  10. protect electronics from cold
