Head of School
Hello Marblehead Community Charter Families,

It has been an outstanding first week of school. Our team of educators welcomed over 220 students back to MCCPS and the energy in the school is electric. Students are settling into new routines. The community meetings are back. The amazing food at lunch fuels us all. And, as Head of School, I am proud of the work we have done to kick off the year with positivity and excitement.

We do have a couple of open seats in Grade 6, so please encourage students from Marblehead, Swampscott, and Nahant to apply to help us get back to 230 students and full enrollment. We are so close!

Thank you to everyone who has completed and returned forms from the summer mailing. Please be sure to get those forms in next week.

Each year we do our best to create opportunities for our community to come together. In the coming weeks we will host some virtual events to share more information about our school and allow you to meet our team. We have updated our website with new photos of our team so you can begin to connect names and faces. https://www.marbleheadcharter.org/staff/

Our Enrichment programs will start officially the week of September 27. If you have an Enrichment course you would like to offer, please contact me to discuss the possibilities. Our music and theater programs get started next week. Sports begin the week after that.

We rely on your support for our Enrichment programs, for free fruit for snacks, for funding guest speakers, and so much more. We really need 100% participation in our Student Success Fund. Thank you to the many of you that have already contributed. We will track our progress toward our goal for this program on our website at: https://www.marbleheadcharter.org/student-success-fund-3/ You can pay online via PayPal or by sending in a check. Payment plans are also available. The most significant impact you can have is to make a sustainable monthly donation. We truly appreciate your support.
