Hello again! We've had a lovely week here with lots of naps and cookies, but I've started to wean myself off of the delicious buttery, sugary, cookies that I let myself get addicted to. I've been experimenting with "healthy" cookies, and I found a coconut pecan recipe that will work well with a few little changes. Meanwhile, we've unpacked a few more boxes, and I finally found Sew Organized!
I think it will look perfect hanging in the new sewing room, and of course the nine embroidered pockets will be filled in no time!
Spooky took a little nap on it while he was patiently waiting for me to stitch out his new designs. Sew Organized is on sale this week, and if you just want the pretty embroidery designs shown on the pockets, they're on sale, too! Click here to find them.
In between baking cookies, and unpacking (sigh), we've been working on your July Gift. Spooky decided that next month's Sew Crazy block had to feature him, and I totally agreed. While we were playing with it, I couldn't resist taking some bits and pieces from it to make the Playful Threads Border! Your July Gift will be done next week, but now you have a sneaky little hint at what will be on it!
This little guy is so delightful - the minute I set up the tea towel, yarn, and bunny, he jumped up there and held that pose till I took the picture. We're going to have fun making more of these designs and playing with this new set! We thought you'd like this playful border, too, so click here and get it quick cause it's free till Friday night (6/25)!
Have you started planning your 4th of July celebrations yet? I'm pretty excited to see what the fireworks will look like in my lovely new town! If you plan to have a picnic, make sure to include the Picnic Party Set. The placemat is simple to make, and the coasters are even easier. And... it's only $5 this week!
I hope you have a relaxing week, and if any of you have any good healthy cookie recipes, please send them my way!
