Dear SJPS families,
Tomorrow we will have completed day 8 of our 2020-2021 school year! The children have been so wonderful and happy to be in school! It is especially great to see our little loves running into school in the morning from the car line--HUGE smiles on their faces!
This morning, one of the Knights of Columbus, who is helping with directing traffic during drop off, told me how kind and polite our kids act toward both adults and other children. He said he has witnessed so many kindnesses just in the few days that he has been helping us out. I couldn't stop smiling!! Our kids shine Jesus and what a gift to have someone share that with me. All I could think of was our Something Beautiful wall that we haven't started filling up yet with our daily small offerings. It is time to work on ways to continue our Something Beautifuls each day!
"Let every action of mine be something beautiful for God!"
We are including a parent information letter from Mrs. Lestina about Schoology. There will also be a paper copy coming home next Tuesday in the family folder. So far everything has been going well and we are continuing to work to make the most out of our new learning management system. If you have any questions about Schoology, please don't hesitate to contact Kim Lestina at klestina@stjerome.org
Tomorrow is an early release day at 11:30 a.m. There is no afternoon bus so please remember to make transportation arrangements for 11:30 a.m.
Have a wonderful weekend!
